The film begins with Endou Mamoru's formative years in Raimon. It chronicles the events of the first half of the film's Football Frontier, up to the point where they face the Ogre. With the majority of the members injured, they were on the verge of despair when Kanon introduced himself as Endou Mamoru's great grandson and other friends from the near future (Fubuki, Toramaru, Hiroto, Tobitaka, and Fidio) showed and assisted them. They overcome Team Ogre with their increased strength and following a fantastic match.
