1971 following civil rights San Francisco appeared to be the ideal location for a black Korean War veteran and his family to realize their dream of economic independence and for him to realize his own opportunity to be "boss." Charlie Walker would soon realize his naiveté. In a city filled with fakes and doubters, he refused to accept "No" for an answer. A door that had never before been accessible to a black man was opened by a devastating event. This is the tale of what happened when he walked through that door with both feet!
