"House On The Hill," based on a true story, is a true crime melodrama with strong horror elements, chronicling serial killer Leonard Lake's outrageous 1980s murder spree, in which he would target, kidnap, rob, and kill people-and even entire families. Sonia, the sole survivor of Lake's killing spree, joins forces with a private investigator to track down a woman who has vanished into Lake's compound. Sonia recounts the horrors of the house, where Lake and his accomplice would force her to videotape the killings.
