House II: The Second Story
Jesse (Arye Gross) and Kate (Lar Park Lincoln), two young urban professionals, relocate into an ancestral home that has been in Jesse's family for generations. Soon after, Jesse's funny friend Charlie (Jonathan Stark) and his diva girlfriend Lana (Amy Yasbeck) arrive, hoping to be discovered by Kate, who works for a record label. After his parents were murdered while he was a child, Jesse has returned to the ancient family estate. Jesse discovers a photograph of his great-great grandpa (and namesake) in front of a Mayan temple holding a crystal skull with jewel-studded eyes while rummaging through ancient possessions in the basement. Jesse discovers that the man in the background is Slim Razor, a former partner of his great-great-grandfather who became an avowed foe following a dispute over who should keep the skull.
