Hotel by the River

For free lodging in a riverside hotel, an elderly poet calls his two sons who have been estranged for some time. This is because he feels like he's going to die for no apparent reason. A young woman is given a room at the hotel after being betrayed by the man she was living with. She asks a friend for help because she needs it. Spending time with his sons and tying up loose ends in his life is a priority for the poet throughout this day. This isn't something you can accomplish in a single day, however. But then he sees the young woman and her friend after a sudden, unimaginably tremendous snowstorm.
