Hot Boyz
Criminals are the offspring of injustice. Kool is a starving artist with a black belt in karate who has fallen head over heels in love with the poised and college-bound LaShawna he's met. In her arms, she realizes that the victim was a police officer who had been wounded in the street. The Ramparts Division of the LAPD has charged her with murder. Tully, the cynical detective in charge, overlooks LaShawna's case but uses Kool to break up an incipient crime operation. Kool is determined to prove her innocence. As a result of this, she is in danger. During her incarceration, a rogue officer beat her to death. Retribution for Kool's death: the Hot Boyz come into being.
