Father Augustus Bane, a priest pushed too far, begins praying to a pistol and chasing down the criminals who murdered his parishioners in Holy Hell, an over-the-top, absurd, sexually perverted, blood-soaked story. HOLY HELL is a current twist on 1960s and 1970s B-Movie and Exploitation film tropes in the manner of recent alternative horror/comedies like "Machete" and "Hobo with a Shotgun." With anarchic joy, the purpose of this feature-length picture is to smash through every restriction set by film, taste, and sensible societal behavior.
