Tinseltown detectives Joe Gavilan (Harrison Ford) and his new partner, K. C. Calden (Josh Hartnett), are on their way to solve a crime. They are not interested in becoming police officers; Gavilan is a real estate broker by day and an aspiring actor by night. Calden is also an aspiring actor who moonlights as a yoga teacher. The two must decide whether they want to focus on solving the case or following their hearts when they are assigned a major investigation.
