Heaven Can Wait
After being involved in an accident, Joe Pendleton, a quarterback prepared to lead his team to the Super Bowl, narrowly escapes death. Once in heaven, he is greeted by an overanxious angel who discovers that he was not prepared to die and that his body has been incinerated. It is necessary to locate a new body, and the body of a recently murdered rich is selected. His wife and accountant, who were the murderers, are perplexed by this event, as he purchases the Los Angeles Rams in order to quarterback them to another Super Bowl appearance.
