Heartbeats
A young homosexual man named Francis and a young straight woman named Marie are best friends — that is, until the day the stunning Nicolas walks into a Montreal coffee shop and steals their hearts away. The two friends, who are both instantaneously and equally smitten with Nicolas, battle for his undetermined affections, a tension that comes to a head when the three visits Nicolas' mother's holiday home. It is through narratives, fantasies, and confessionals that the frothy humor is brought to life on screen.
