When it comes to school spirit, Pete Ivey (Jason Dolley) is the type of guy who is easily missed. His best friend, Cleatus Poole (Mitchel Musso), is happily carrying on the family legacy of promoting school pride as the feisty Brewster High chicken. Poole begs Pete to take his position at center court when the costume causes an allergic reaction, and the subsequent anonymity allows Pete to uncover his inner star. However, Poole is getting the most attention from admirers, who believe that he is the one who wears a hood and mask. Also complicating Pete's efforts to catch Angela's attention are his feelings for the strange man in the chicken suit (Josie Loren). In the end, Pete will have to decide whether or not it is worth it to expose himself for what and who he truly is in order to avoid rejection.
