When a winter storm strikes Cleveland, causing flights to be canceled, local hotels quickly fill up with stranded passengers. Nina, a pilot, hesitantly agrees to allow Brady, an egotistical but charming coworker, remain with her parents. However, when they learn that her family is throwing a tree-trimming party that night and that her ex will be there, Brady pretends to be her boyfriend to assist her.
