Gogol. Viy
There is a Dark Horseman who kills young girls near the village of Dikanka, and he has already killed 11 women. When Nikolai Gogol, a scribe from Saint Petersburg, has fits, he sees macabre things. As soon as he learns that Liza is the next victim, his heart is broken. He doesn't think he can protect her or fight off the killer. He meets Khoma Brut, a witch hunter, martial artist, and philosopher, who can help him. In a dark old chapel, they read the funeral service for Ulyana, the witch. They also call on the ghastly, evil spirit Viy to help them.
