Kim Sang-nam (Jeong Jae-yeong), a hot-tempered former professional baseball player, is sent to the countryside to coach a team of hearing-impaired players in order to avoid media coverage of his recent involvement in an assault case. While it's first impossible for Kim to imagine how to teach baseball to an unhearing group of boys, the more time he spends with them, the more he comes to believe that they can learn to play the game. Kim is inspired and resolves to assist them in preparing for the nationals. However, things do not turn out the way Kim had hoped, and their inability to communicate effectively with one another makes the problem worse.
