Charlie, Alex, and Nick were hardly the most popular youngsters in their little town until they founded "The Elite Monster Unit." Chasing famous, fabled legends and ghosts was exhilarating to them, but not "cool" to the other children in the neighborhood. As a result, they lived on the periphery of society's "in" crowd. Making matters worse was Charlie's evident crush on Brandy, one of the school's most popular students and the sister of one of the school's most heinous bullies. To impress Brandy, Charlie accepts her brother Nick's dare to spend Halloween night with his buddies in a house long known to be haunted. What appears to be a simple task quickly transforms into a night of terror as Charlie, Nick, and Alex find themselves in the fight of their lives, attempting to outwit (and outrun) their new nemesis, a ghost dog named Salty, who will stop at nothing to ensure that this is the worst night of their lives...
