Having defeated the evil DOA organization, Ken (Chow Yun Fat) is eager to return to his peaceful retirement. Vincent (Shawn Yue), his former protege and current Interpol agent, approaches Ken and requests his assistance in tracking down the true mastermind behind DOA, Aoi. With the help of Mark (Nick Cheung), DOA's former top accountant, the two travel to Thailand, where Mark and his daughter have fled.
