Martijn, an idealistic Dutch pianist, travels to Morocco with the goal of assisting in the establishment of a food program for starving children there. The terrorists seize Martijn and inject him with a crippling medication before taking him away and imprisoning him within minutes of his arrival. With his life on the line, the young guy engages in a mental chess match with Ahmat in an attempt to uncover the true nature of his captor's intentions and avoid an unthinkable end in the process.
