"Fist of Dragon" narrates the narrative of Li, who travels to Southeast Asia to assist his financially disadvantaged uncle. Li feels out of place in the town because of the different cultures. When Li discovered his uncle was being harassed by the local mobsters, he decided to stay and support him. Locals oppose Li's actions because they provoke the triad's wrath and cause chaos throughout the community. His uncle's daughter, Lily, is on the triad side, and their relationship suffers when the two groups clash.
