The escapades of a bunch of teenagers from Texas on their final day of school in 1976, centered on one of the students named Randall Floyd, who is comfortable mingling with stoners, jocks, and geeks alike. Floyd is a standout athlete, but he also has a habit of using pot, which creates a problem for him because his football coach requires him to sign a promise that says he won't use illegal drugs.
