Good-hearted blacksmith Eyvind (Max von Sydow) hides away infant Prince Siegfried (Benno Furmann) after two evil kings murder his father. The gods, however, dispatch a blazing meteor that exposes Siegfried's destinies and sets him on a journey he will never forget. He must defeat the evil dragon Fafnir if he hopes to restore his collapsing country and win the heart of his true love (Kristanna Loken).
