Daniel, a 20-year-old man, undergoes a spiritual metamorphosis while incarcerated in a Youth Detention Center. He wishes to become a priest, but his criminal background makes this impossible. When he is assigned to work in a carpenter's workshop in a small town, he dresses up as a priest and accidentally takes over the local parish. The advent of the young, charismatic preacher provides an opportunity for the local community to begin the healing process following a tragedy that occurred there.
