Clínica de Migrantes: Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness

Puentes de Salud is a volunteer-run clinic in south Philadelphia that provides free medical care to undocumented immigrants. Doctors and nurses work for free to help those who might otherwise go untreated. For months, Maxim Pozdorovkin's Clinica de Migrantes observes Puentes' personnel and patients as they develop. People displaced from their homes, separated from their families, unfamiliar with local norms, unable to obtain health insurance, and afraid to seek medical treatment are all given human faces in the video. These patients' tales are revealed in Clinica, along with the courageous doctors and nurses who work pro gratis to secure their care.
