Emily's dairy farm, which she has operated since her father's death, has ran into financial difficulties. When Emily's sister Dorothy and her dashing business partner Charlie arrive with a proposal to sell the farm, Emily devises an innovative plan to acquire her sister's interests. She hosts an online Christmas ice cream flavor contest that becomes viral due to a critical ingredient: Charlie's incredible apple pie.
