Diane McCarthy (Leah Pipes) is a reality television producer for her arrogant ex-travel boyfriend's show. Diane swerves off the road and becomes stuck as a storm approaches while driving to her next assignment. She notices the Forest Cove bed and breakfast in the distance. Helen (Lindsay Wagner), the owner, offers Diane a complimentary room until her car is ready. Diane, desperate for shelter, accepts Helen's offer and meets Helen's handsome son Andy (Rick Malambri). Diane changes her plans for the next episode to focus on Forest Cove after being impressed by its allure. Helen is ecstatic and hopes that the show will generate much-needed revenue. Andy, who is preparing to sell the struggling property, is opposed. Despite his objections, Andy and Diane bond while preparing for the show. However, things become complicated when Jared, Diane's ex and the show's host, arrives and throws a wrench in the works.
