Corinne and Louie Jeffries are happily married. On their first wedding anniversary, Louie is slain while crossing the street. Louie is reincarnated as Alex Finch, and twenty years later, fate brings together Alex and Miranda, Louie's daughter. Alex does not begin to recall his former life, wife, and best friend until he is invited to Louie's house. Obviously, there is also the issue that he is drawn to Louie's/his own daughter.
