Capone
Johnny Torrio, a Chicago-based crook, captures Al Capone's eye as he visits New York City. On Capone's invitation, Torrio brings his Prohibition-era booze distribution network to Illinois. He advances up Torrio's organization, and he eventually becomes the boss. Above all else, he strives to increase his hold on power by removing his rivals, rigging the election, and accumulating assets to benefit himself financially. During his downtime, Capone courts the steadfast Iris Crawford.
