Campbell's Kingdom

Adapted from Hammond Innes' novel of the same name. On the death of his grandfather Bruce Campbell (Dirk Bogarde) inherits "Campbell's Kingdom" in the Canadian Rockies. He has been told he has a disease that will kill him and decides to try to find the oil that his grandfather thought was on his land. His grandfather was wrongly found guilty of fraud when his oil exploration company went bankrupt. When the dam is completed, the "Kingdom" will be flooded. Owen Morgan (Stanley Baker) is the CEO of a dam-building corporation. In order to establish that the oil is there, it's a race against time.
