The CIA is looking for the mastermind behind a spate of terrorist assaults. Roger Ferris is the agency's man on the ground, travelling from one location to the next, trying to stay ahead of ever-changing circumstances. A satellite hookup keeps an eye on Ferris. The CIA's Ed Hoffman is on the other end of that real-time hookup, plotting events from thousands of miles away. As Ferris gets closer to his goal, he realizes that trust may be as deadly as it is important for survival.
