In the 1950s, a little kid named George Jung grows up in a household that is having financial difficulties. While his father is working hard to provide for the family, his mother is constantly nagging at her spouse. It is finally revealed that George's father is unable to make a living, which ultimately results in financial ruin for the family. In the 1960s, George is concerned that the same thing may happen to him as it did to his friend Tuna. Tuna proposes that George get involved in the marijuana trade. Even though he is a huge success in California in the 1960s, he winds himself in jail, which is where he first learns about the benefits of cocaine use. As a consequence of this, when he is finally released, he becomes wealthy by smuggling cocaine into the United States. But he doesn't escape the consequences for very long.
