Blood in the Water
Even though Percy and Veronica are house sitting in the Hollywood Hills this summer, they are days away from returning to the real world of jobs and young professionals. Unexpectedly, former college classmate Freedgood interrupts their peace. His post-liberal arts life has been marred by incarceration, unscrupulous business deals, and drugs. A LAPD detective's attention, and a craving for the everyday strife that looks so much more attractive than staying in their fake Eden, quickly lead to the man's death.
