A young wealthy orphan loses his fiancée to voodoo doll mischief perpetrated by his envious housekeeper. He unearths his lover, cleans her, stuffs her, and places her in the mansion's bed. Following that, he auditions and dismisses a number of young maidens in the hopes of finding the proper replacement for her, with the disapproving housekeeper assisting him in the process.
