Rocky and Dan are war friends on night patrol. Rocky is more lenient than cynical Dan about lawbreakers. Both are attracted to Kate Mallory's radio voice, but she's reluctant to become connected with men who could stop a bullet. Rocky and Dan accidentally cause homicidal racketeer Ritchie Garris difficulties, but when he vows revenge, Kate's suspicions may be validated.
