They are assigned to the investigation when there is a string of strange murders in Hong Kong. It's only the two of them against Wang's irresponsible younger partner and veteran vet Huang, both of whom are fed up with Wang's irrational behavior landing them in trouble. They are at a loss and must play a deadly game after realizing that all the victims were ex-boyfriends of up-and-coming actress Liu Liu's killer must be lured out by one of them posing as Liu's lover under the cover of darkness.
