After SAT exams are stolen from a principal's office, young reporter Bobby Funke sets out to identify the perpetrator. Bobby publishes an article that identifies Class President Paul Moore as the thief, so destroying the youth's image. However, as Bobby gets to know Francesca, Paul's fiancée, he realizes he was mistaken about Paul, and he sets out to identify the real perpetrator.
