The film is divided into five seasons, as per the Chinese calendar. The story is set in the martial arts world of jianghu. Ouyang Feng has spent years in the western desert. When the woman he loved chose to marry his elder brother over him, he departed White Camel Mountain. Instead of glory, he becomes an agent. When people approach to him seeking vengeance, he connects them with a swordsman who can help them.
