He was a giant of his time, but he is now almost forgotten in Germany. To celebrate Artur Schnabel's 100th birthday, pianist Markus Pawlik (with baritone Dietrich Henschel and the Szymanowski String Quartet) performs in Berlin. Pawlik travels to the locations that influenced Schnabel's life and music. With the help of modernism, "Artur Schnabel: No Place of Exile" rediscovers an important artist uprooted by war and the Holocaust.
