Anhedonia
Kino Warren, a haggard musician, begins a journey across the country and into an area known as "the territory" after learning of his mentor's impending death. It's Kino's firm belief that the mentor can't die until he shows up. The sole known recording of the finest piece of music ever recorded, which is said to be capable of erasing all anguish within the listener, is in the ownership of Kino's mentor and is being hunted by a number of persons who are either evil or politically motivated.
