The personnel under the command of Company Commander Claus Michael Pedersen are currently stationed in the province of Helmand in Afghanistan. Maria, Claus's wife, is having a difficult time making ends meet in Denmark now that her husband is serving in the military and their three children no longer have access to their father. During a mission that was supposed to be routine, the soldiers found themselves caught in heavy crossfire from the Taliban. Claus makes a choice that would ultimately result in him being extradited back to Denmark on charges of committing a war crime. He does this so that he can preserve the lives of his soldiers.
