A Girl on the Shore
Middle school students Keisuke Isobe and Koume Satou live a dreary existence in a beach town. As a result, things get a little out of the ordinary for Koume and her boyfriend. "No strings attached" connection with Keisuke. Both find solace in the other in order to replace the emotional holes they had previously experienced. When true feelings begin to grow and the implications of their connection begin to take a toll on those around them and themselves, being "friends with benefits" becomes more difficult. Umibe no Onnanoko is a frank exploration of the emotional toll that might be exacted by a choice made by two young people.
