A Friend Is a Treasure

Alan is able to acquire a map that will lead him to some war booty that the Japanese army abandoned on a small island in the Pacific at the conclusion of World War II. However, some thugs attempt to take the map from him, so he runs away and hides on Charlie's boat as it pulls out of the harbor. He fools Charlie by adjusting the bearings on the ship's compass so that he doesn't realize they are headed for the treasure island. However, when they step foot on the island, they find that it is not as deserted as they had been led to believe; there are still some natives living there, as well as a Japanese soldier guarding the riches.
