The marriage of Mary (Austin Highsmith) and Charlie (Alan Powell) had gotten strained after he forgot their anniversary and she almost slept with Trevor (Luke Edwards) whose partner, Susan (Valerie Azlynn), is a lawyer. Then Mary, suspicious of Charlie, shows up abruptly at his renovation site, only to discover him dead. Crystal (Lorna Street Dopson), Charlie's sister, suspects Mary of the crime and seeks Susan's legal advice.
